EMPLOYMENT/ WORK EXPERIENCE
May 2003-
work experience at Travel West Midlands in the Press and Publicity Department. Here, I dealt with customer complaints, issues and enquiries. This taught me the basis of replying to complaints in an authoritative, yet composed manner. I also observed regular presentations to the public eye, which taught me some of the many techniques used to express your opinions in a clear, objective manner; whilst being as succinct as possible.
July 2004- March 2006
Fulford Heath Golf Club- Here, I worked as a waitress, where I had to frequently deal with customer enquiries and interact with them on a regular basis. This taught me many qualities such as patience, logic, politeness and also prioritizing duties in an orderly manner.
May 2006- June 2006
Temporary Sales Advisor at River Island- I experienced the techniques used when working in an environment where customer contact and promoting items is a priority. These techniques included persuasion, determination and persistency. I also learned that it is extremely important to build up a customers trust in a very small amount of time, as this allows them to feel comfortable with the advice and opinions that you give them about a product. From this experience, I now enjoy working in a dynamic, challenging atmosphere, and I have a vast amount of knowledge about selling and persuading customers in order to buy items.
December 2005- present
Sales and promotions all over the UK.
Represented brands such as McVities, Esporta Health Centre, Sports Relief, Sainsburys, World cup, WKD, TK Maxx etc. My experience varies from modelling and paid photoshoots, to sampling, leafleting, hostessing, demonstrating, data capture and competition entry.

PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am an enthusiastic, out-going girl who has the confidence to approach any person despite their sex, race, religion or culture. I am at best when working in the company of new people, where the atmosphere is dynamic and exciting. I am very careful with my appearance, as I feel that it can portray a person's mood or personality, and a presentable appearance is also vital when building a person's first reaction towards you. I am extremely ambitious and hard-working, and when faced with a task, my determination allows me to ensure that I have completed it to the best of my ability. I feel that it is extremely important to use your own initiative at all times, as situations don't always go the way that they were planned, so I have learned to adapt to new situations quickley and efficiently, whilst using them to my advantage. Due to being a Rhythmic Gymnast from the age of 5 until 17, I am very comfortable when being the focus of attention. I progressed to a high level, of which I trained at Lilleshall, and represented England in competitions. At levels such as this, you need to be extremely ambitious and motivated. This experience taught me how to remain calm and successful when under pressure, and also taught me the importance of hard work in order to reach success. This also taught me how to immediately attract peoples attention, and how to keep it aswell! I learned how to present yourself gracefully and elegantly, with good posture. Finally, I pride myself on my people skills, and along with my approachable personality, I feel that I would make an excellent model within your company.
